The Jewrican Traveler

The only thing I remember during my college years of visiting New Paltz is that it has a great night life. Little did I know that it was home to the Mohonk Preserve and some of the best hiking trails right outside of New York City. A couple friends and I decided to do a 12-mile hike through Meetup to save on any expenses and meet other people with similar interests. I’ve done it through one of those organized trips before it those about $60+. Instead we only had to pay for minor transportation expenses and $12 to enter the preserve.
