During a recent school trip to Dalat, we went to a number of interesting and colorful pagodas, one of which had a tree with ‘lucky cards’ hanging from the branches. Lucky cards predict one’s luck for the year.
After selecting one of the red envelopes at random, I handed it to my Vietnamese colleague to translate, and as luck would have it, I picked the best card one could select and I’m suppose to have a really lucky year.
It’s predicted that during the course of this year, I will be guided and helped by at least one person along the way, no matter what it is I choose to do. I have to admit, this prediction is fairly accurate thus far.
