I was finally able to head over and visit the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, a tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. If you’re planning a visit to the memorial, make sure you reserve your guest passes in advance.

Photo of the Week: Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
Halloween is finally upon us and this past weekend I had the chance to take a tour of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Many people make the trek to pay homage to the legendary author Washington Irving and enjoy all the Halloween festivities Sleepy Hollow has to offer.
Photo of the Week: Brooklyn Bridge
As one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States and an iconic part of the New York skyline, this week’s photo is the Brooklyn Bridge. Even though it’s a huge tourist trap, walking over the bridge is free with beautiful views of both Brooklyn and Manhattan. You can view the rest of my [...]
Photo of the Week: Bear Mountain
I recently found myself wanting to take a break from New York City and get out in order to smell fresh air for the first time in a long time. I decided to venture up north for a day trip to beautiful Bear Mountain, one of my favorite locations in the world. Check out one [...]
Photo of the Week: Willis Tower in Chicago
I’m ecstatic to announce that I’ve just recently accepted a new job, where I will not only be doing what I enjoy doing, but will also require me to visit my client in Chicago frequently! Here’s a photo from my last visit to Chicago’s Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower). This photo is almost symbolic of how [...]
Photo of the Week: Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Plaza
With the holiday season upon us, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza is finally up. Here’s one of my favorite images of the Christmas tree taken in 2008.

Photo of the Week: Singapore
On next week’s Top Chef, they’re leaving D.C. and hitting up Singapore, one of my favorite countries! I was completely obsessed with the architecture, the cleanliness, and their top notch bus and train system. I wanted to share one of my favorite photos from the area: a picture of me with the popular Merlion statue. I’m [...]
Photo of the Week: Elephant Kisses
This photo makes me smile every time. While at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I got a sloppy (yet very sweet) kiss from a baby elephant. How adorable is this?
Photo of the Week: Balinese Dancer
In honor of the movie Eat Pray Love coming out in theaters, I’ve decided to post one of my favorite images from when I was in Bali. This image was taken from Ubud, which was where the author Elizabeth Gilbert lived in the book. These type of dancers perform traditional Balinese dancing, which you’ll see videos of [...]
